Street to the Bone Custom bike show

June 5th, 2011 Street to the Bone is putting on a custom bike meet in Far South Seoul near the E-Mart off the Kyungbu Expressway. I made a map to show where it's at and more information here at Street to the bone or here at Shakepiston MC.

It's 5,000 Won ($5) to enter your bike and 1,000 Won ($1) to go into the show. There's gonna be three classes for bikes: Classic Bikes, Street Custom Bike and 850 cc's and under bikes. See you there.

Wolak-San Natonal Park

So yesterday Sal and I had to get out and ride, He's like me when it comes to riding, hard and fast and we hit the mountains around Wolak San National Park. With me on the Dyna and him on his new Sportster 48 he couldn't quite keep up. His old Sporty no problem but the new 48 is too low. He completely ground off the curb stud off the footpeg today on the Left side and ground his downsweep pipe on the right side completely flat.

We also had Brad and Troy riding with us, two ENCS new car Salesmen who work for Sal. I've known Troy for a long time and has finally started riding again after a long hiatus after buying a new Road King and Brad is the proud owner of a Road Glide. Sal and I would leave them behind to ride like our hair was on fire but would stop at every turn off or rest stop and wait for them and drink a beer.

Shake Piston Motorcycle

Once G-Kun got to the shop he forgot the key for the door so we jumped in his Bongo truck to go over to Public's apartment to get the key. Luckily I knew more Korean than he knew English and we had a good time driving around and talking at the shop about bikes, going to Yokohama, painting and silk screening shirts. Out at the Bike Garage outside of town G-Kun is building a silk-screen shirt machine from scratch with angle Aluminum and his knowhow... The ingenuity of some of these guys amazes me. I made a new friend today and I'm stoked.
